Sikhi Awareness Foundation (SAF) is a Canadian Charity, working towards the betterment of all no matter what their Race, Caste or Creed is. SAF believes and follows the Sikh principles of selfless service to humanity.
We are the only Canadian Sikh charity working in India. Our goal is to provide economic, educational, and community support to those living in extreme poverty across the subcontinent. We are implementing various poverty alleviation programs that invest in children’s education, provide meals to the hungry, and improve the living conditions of India’s impoverished. SAF’s efforts also include female empowerment, the prevention of child labour, and the prevention of early child marriages.
