Mata Tripta Ji Housing for Panjab
Panjab may be known for its agricultural abundance and high per capita income, yet thousands of families continue to live in severe poverty. Since 2014, SAF International has identified and supported those most in need—single mothers, Granthi Singhs, and others on the brink of homelessness. We’ve constructed over 60 houses in Panjab so far, each offering more than just four walls and a roof—it’s a renewed sense of hope and stability for families who had almost nothing left.
Our housing project is primarily focused in Panjab because it demands hands-on, daily oversight from our local team. Being on the ground ensures each new home meets our standards of safety, dignity, and comfort. Until now, our limited resources allowed us to build only 2–3 houses per year, always prioritizing families who need help the most.
In 2025, with a new partner on the ground in India—SHSG—we’ve significantly increased our capacity to construct 16 houses per year. Looking ahead, we plan to reach 26 houses annually, thanks to the support of the sangat and the gupt daan commitment from a Vancouver-based Sikh construction company that has pledged to build 20 houses every year for the next five years.
Join today and help provide a roof over the head of a family!
If you share our passion for helping the most vulnerable and want to be part of this life-changing work, we invite you to stand with SAF International and bring hope to those who have been overlooked for too long.
